God’s creation is my passion. I love to be in the outdoors no matter what it entails. It is amazing to me how perfect this creation is put together; everything in it has a place and a purpose. Chasing mature whitetails through the Appalachian Range probably ranks as my number one priority when it comes to the great outdoors. I was introduced to the outdoors through my Dad. Initially, I believe my interest was to simply spend time with him, but as time went on Dad started teaching me how to respect the outdoors, respect the animals, and most importantly to respect God and thank him for his creation. I started to develop a new passion/obsession that each year grows into higher expectations. Each year brings a deeper more in depth understanding of not only the knowledge it takes to hunt mature deer, but an understanding that I need to appreciate what is in front of me at that very moment. It may be as simple as watching a chipmunk hoarding acorns for the winter or being confused about how a woodpecker can beat his head off a tree and still achieve his goal. Last, but absolutely not least, is how God, through his creation and hunting in the Appalachian Range, has brought people into my life. The best of friends is an integral part of truly enjoying his creation!
