I've hunted Appalachia for most of my 25 years. My dad started me out chasing grey squirrel with a 4/10 poke stock at a very early age. Over the years, I've progressed to pursuing trophy whitetails with my bow and chasing black bears with some of the finest hounds around. I've become very passionate about preparing year around for those few magical months when I can take to the steep and rugged Appalachia mountains to hunt the game I choose. It's not easy to hunt this terrain. It's mostly steep hills, razor back ridges, thickets, and if you're lucky, you might run into a small flat with some oaks that isn't a mile straight up hill. This part of the country is very unforgiving, but hunting these Appalachian mountains is what I have grown to love and wouldn't have it any other way. My name is Jordan Butcher, and I'm addicted to the hunt.
