Growing up in the Appalachian Range on the Guyandotte and Kanawha rivers in southern WV cat fishing was an every week event for me and my father during the summer. We would spend hours catching bait and sitting on a river bank waiting for a channel cat or big flat head to start ripping drag. It was there where my fathers passion became my passion. It was there and those late nights sitting or sleeping on those river banks that you connect with the outdoors and the man who created them. My love for the water has only grown since I was a boy and with my fathers passing there is a connection I feel as the sun breaks over the water and that little voice is still there sharing with you the wisdom of that was passed down from his fathers before. I now catfish every weekend I can during the summer and winter chasing giant blues and flatheads. My journey has taken me from one end of the Appalachia to the other. I hope you enjoy my adventures in the future as much as I will enjoy bringing you my journey.
